The 10 Best Characters/People on TV 2011

OK one more TV list; this time the 10 best and worst characters/people on TV for 2011.  Here it goes:

10. Jesse (Aaron Paul) on Breaking Bad - You can’t help but cheer for Jesse, even when you know he’s headed in a bad direction.

9. Det. Lydia Adams (Regina King) on Southland - She’s just a badass.

8. Eden Wood on Toddlers & Tiaras - She brings her A game every time. Puts the other bitches in their place.

7. Crystal Fambrini on KTLA Strange Her Change Her - Strange Her Change Her rules!!!

6. Luke on Modern Family - He had the best line of the series -  “I hope you like paying taxes!”

5. Pam (Kristin Bauer) on True Blood - She should be in every scene.  More Pam for 2012 Alan Ball!

4. Richard Harrow (Jack Huston) on Boardwalk Empire - Best character with only half a face on television.

3. Caroline Manzo on RHONJ - Seriously Teresa, shut your mouth, because Caroline will just make you look more stupid.

2. Troy (Donald Glover) on Community - My favorite character on my favorite show

1. Pippa Middleton - Duh. Obviously.

And the worst…

10. Mike on Top Chef - He had no business in the Top Chef all-stars finale.

9. Amazing Race winners - I can’t even remember their names.

8. Elizabeth Hassleback - I was beginning to be able to tolerate her until Bill Maher went on The View.  Unable to competently debate Bill, she resorted to acting like a child.

7. Ramone on Biggest Loser - He was on my earlier list, but he makes this list too.

6. Bonnie on Biggest Loser - Seriously, why do I watch this show?

5. William H. Macy on Shameless - worst miscast of 2012.

4. Gretchen on OC Housewives - She loves Jesus. And fake breasts.

3. InTENsity on X Factor - Made me miss Kids Incorporated.

2. Darren Criss on Glee - Another repeat from my earlier list.  He makes this list for his awful bow ties.

1. The Duggars - They have crazy eyes and are in a cult, which TLC never talks about.

10 Best/Worst Things I Saw on TV in 2011.

OK.  I know you’ve all been waiting for this.  Here is my list of the best and worst things I saw on TV this year.  Lets start with the crap:

10. United States of Tara - It was if the writers had absolutely no idea how to carry this show on to a third season.  Tara goes to college? What?

9. Shameless - This show was obnoxious from beginning to end.

8. Bag of Bones - Yawn.

7. Jim Parsons - He reminds me of those guys you see on To Catch a Predator.

6. 2 Broke Girls - Kat Dennings, if you don’t believe its funny, how are we supposed too?

5. Virgin Diaries - blech…

4. Amazing Race - Teams must now drive to this obvious spot. Once there they will get their next clue. Then go to your pit stop.  Should take you about ten minutes.  This show used to take teams days to finish a leg.

3. Ramon on “The Biggest Loser.” - A segment producers dream. A viewers nightmare.

2. Darren Criss on “Glee.” - He’s got a big annoying face.

1. The medias crush on Tim Tebow. - Is this country really that desperate for another great quarterback from the Broncos that they’re settling on this guy?!?!?

OK the good stuff:

10. Breaking Bad - OK confession, I’m a season behind.  But this show has moved from a dark, twisted comedy to just a dark, twisted drama.

9. Chris Rene on The X Factor - I don’t know what it is about this guy.

8. World Series Game 6 - For everyone who thinks baseball is boring, they should watch this game.

7. True Blood - So ridiculous, but still so much fun to watch.

6. The Royal Wedding - Pippa.

5. Haddie/ Violet on American Horror Story - SPOILER ALERT. This show is hit and miss, but killing off Haddie in the Halloween episode, and then Violet later on in the series was smart.

4. Housewives - I’m an OC and NJ man, but I give props to BH and ATL as well.

3. Parenthood - This show makes me cry.  Haha I’m a nerd

2. Boardwalk Empire Finale - SPOILER ALERT. “I am not looking for forgiveness.”  and then Nucky puts a bullet in Jimmy’s head. Blew me away.  End the series now and it will be perfect.

1. Community - Best show on TV. If you don’t like this show, unfriend me.
